Below are two microphone shells that I powder coated in my shop. The
red shell is a 520DX shell and was done in three steps. First was a
coat of extreme chrome, followed by two coats of transparent red, then
finished with a coat of super high gloss clear. The blue
microphone is a Turner Sharkfin and was done in sparkle electric blue
with a coat of super high gloss clear. The 520DX shell has a triple
application and the blue Sharkfin as a double application.
